Karnataka: PM Modi mourns death of mathematician RL Kashyap | Bengaluru

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his tributes to mathematician RL Kashyap who breathed his final on Friday morning. He additionally despatched his condolences to the household of RL Kashyap. In line with media stories, Kashyap, 85, died of age-related sickness.

PM Modi took to social media and wrote, “Shri RL Kashyap is a flexible persona and an amazing scholar. He was blessed with a wealth of mathematical and scientific data. He was very happy with India’s cultural roots and distinguished himself in Vedic research. Saddened by his demise. My condolences to his household. Om Shanti”

Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai too mourned the demise of Kashyap and remembered his contributions. He mentioned that RL Kashyap translated round twenty-five thousand Sanskrit mantras into English language. “Founding father of Sakshi Sanstha and who translated 25 thousand mantras into English language and created greater than 50 books, Padma Shri R. L. We have been very saddened to listen to the information of Kashyap’s passing. I pray that God bless his soul,” wrote CM Bommai.

RL Kashyap labored as a professor within the Division of Electrical and Computer systems for 3 many years at Purdue College in America. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2021 by the central authorities for his appreciable service within the discipline of finding out the Vedas.
