Beginning this month electrical buses will provide a further connectivity choice for individuals touring between Bengaluru and Mysuru – a distance of round 150 km – in keeping with a report by The Instances of India.
The Karnataka State Highway Transport Company (KSRTC) has reportedly already struck a deal Hyderabad-based Olectra Greentech Ltd., which is predicted to ship a prototype e-bus by December 15. By the tip of the month KSRTC expects to take supply of 25 e-buses. One other 25 are anticipated by end-February, KSRTC MD V Anbu Kumar instructed The Instances of India.
The KSRTC can also be planning to make use of e-buses to hyperlink capital Bengaluru to smaller cities within the state, corresponding to Davangere, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Virajpet and Madikeri.
In the meantime, KSRTC has invited individuals to create a show identify and tag line for the e-buses.
