K’taka teen forced to perform banned ritual as father fails to pay loan: Report | Bengaluru

In a horrific incident, a 15-year-old boy from the Koppal city of Karnataka was made to carry out ‘Bettalu Seve’, a banned ritual the place bare worship is obtainable to the god, reported The New Indian Categorical. The sufferer was pressured to carry out the ritual after his father did not repay the mortgage that he took for building of the home. Although the incident occurred within the month of June, it not too long ago got here to the highlight after the video of the teenager went viral. An FIR was additionally lodged in opposition to the accused on Sunday.

In line with the report, the accused lent some cash to the sufferer’s father and was given a time-frame to pay the mortgage again. As his father did not repay the mortgage, the 15-year-old boy moved to Hubbali in Karnataka and began working as a day by day wage labor to assist his father to pay again the mortgage. Nevertheless, the accused allegedly satisfied the boy to carry out Bettalu Seve and made him consider that it might clear up all the issues of his father. It’s reported that the accused made the boy strip and carry out the superstitious ritual after taking him to a secret location. The boy later moved to Mangalore and continued to work at a personal building website.

After three months, the mother and father of the sufferer realized in regards to the incident by way of a viral video and filed a criticism on the Koppal (rural) police station. A particular police crew was fashioned to analyze the case.
