The fact tv star and the 6-foot-10 basketball participant married in 2009 after a whirlwind romance.
Their marriage was marked by public struggles, together with infidelity, substance abuse and repeated scandals.
Kardashian later described the second that led her to file for divorce.
“[He] had a drug dependancy and I knew that his dependancy all the time heightened when he was within the low season, trigger idle time is the satan’s playground,” she recalled.
“I keep in mind he was requested to go to Workforce USA, if I keep in mind accurately, and I used to be begging, ‘Please, please go to Workforce USA,’ and I used to be pushing, and I keep in mind he simply checked out me and stated, ‘You may’t need it greater than I do.'”
She added: “When he stated, ‘You may’t need it greater than me’ and ‘I do not need it’ — it was so profound… I wished it so badly, as a result of I wished to assist him and to get him to really feel the motivation and really feel good.
“However he simply wasn’t in that place… then I needed to file for divorce.”
The couple’s divorce was finalized in 2016.
