Leasing of warehousing in Chennai rose 44 per cent to five.1 million sq. ft within the final fiscal.

Kolkata noticed 41 per cent progress in leasing to 4.3 million sq. ft in FY22 as in contrast with the earlier fiscal.

The Third-Celebration Logistics (3PL) sector, which constituted 31 per cent of all transactions, leased 14.9 million sq. ft of warehousing area, registering a 50 per cent YoY progress.

On the report, Saransh Trehan, Managing Director of realty agency Trehan Group, mentioned the demand for warehousing is on fixed rise, particularly in and round industrial cities of NCR like Bhiwadi, Neemrana and Kundli amongst others.
