Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Meeting for a one-day session within the aftermath of the assault on vacationers in south Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
As per the order issued in the present day by the Lieutenant Governor, the Meeting shall meet in Jammu on Monday.
“I, Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, in train of the powers conferred upon me beneath part 18(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019, do hereby summon the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Meeting to satisfy at Jammu on Monday, the twenty eighth of April, 2025 at 10.30 am,” the summons mentioned.
“Accordingly, by way of rule 3 of the Guidelines of Process and Conduct of Enterprise within the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Meeting, all of the Hon’ble Members are requested to kindly attend the Session of the Legislative Meeting on the appointed date, time and place,” an order issued by the Secretary, J&Ok Legislative Meeting, mentioned.
The Meeting session has been known as within the wake of Tuesday’s terrorist assault in Pahalgam, the place 25 vacationers and an area have been killed.
