A 35-year-old lady was stabbed to loss of life on Friday night by her estranged husband in Bengaluru, the place he had stalked her and discovered the route she would take whereas returning dwelling after work, police mentioned. He has been arrested.

Investigations revealed that the couple, initially from Bagepalli in Chikkaballapur district, had been separated for 4 years. Sharadha had relocated to Bengaluru and labored as a home assist, whereas Krishnappa remained in Bagepalli. Their two kids additionally lived aside —the 16-year-old son stayed with Krishnappa, and their 12-year-old daughter lived with Sharadha.
Regardless of the separation, Krishnappa often visited Bengaluru and reportedly assaulted Sharadha, accusing her of infidelity. The police imagine that his rising suspicion led him to plot her homicide. On the day of the crime, he allegedly purchased two knives, took a bus to Bengaluru, and reached Electronics Metropolis by 3.30 pm, positioning himself alongside Sharadha’s route.

Krishnappa is claimed to have consumed alcohol earlier than the assault and was visibly intoxicated. “He may barely stand when he attacked her,” the officer added. The witnesses mentioned he had struck Sharadha a number of occasions, leaving her in a pool of blood. She was declared useless on arrival when rushed to a hospital.
The police have seized each knives from Krishnappa.
