The police arrested a 35-year-old man who allegedly killed his two younger nephews and critically injured one other on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Saturday whereas their mother and father had been away at work.
The deceased are Mohammed Ishaq, 9, Mohammed Junaid, 7, and the injured boy is Mohammed Rohan, 5. The victims are the sons of the accused Mohammed Khasim’s elder brother, Chand Pasha, a local of Yadgir district.
Pasha was residing in Kammasandra, south Bengaluru, along with his spouse and three youngsters, and Khasim, a constructing development labourer, had come to stick with them searching for a job.
Based on the police, Khasim, who used to regularly quarrel along with his brother, allegedly hit the kids with an iron rod on their heads when their grandmother had gone to the grocery retailer.
A police officer mentioned, “When the grandmother returned house, Khasim was inside and she or he screamed for assist, then neighbours broke open the door. Khasim escaped from the spot however was later caught by the police.”
Based on the officer, Khasim regularly quarrelled along with his brother as he was not caring for his monetary bills, though the police suspect that Khasim was mentally unstable.
The police have registered a homicide case and are investigating the matter.

Kasim had beforehand fled house after quarreling with Pasha and was tracked down by family in Tamil Nadu earlier than returning.
