Man suspected of stealing truck, guns from Moffat County property arrested after manhunt

An all-day manhunt ended Friday within the arrest of a person suspected of stealing a pickup truck and weapons from a property in rural Moffat County, police mentioned.

Valentin Velez, 43, was discovered close to a county street with a loaded firearm, a “distribution quantity” of suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, in accordance with a Moffat County sheriff’s information launch.
