The Karnataka authorities has introduced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the household of a minor who was raped and murdered by her 51-year-old tuition instructor within the state’s Mandya district. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai introduced the compensation on Sunday.
The chief minister stated the inhumane incident has shocked the area. “An FSL (forensic science laboratory) report is awaited, following which a chargesheet will probably be filed in opposition to the accused,” Bommai added.
