The Manipal Institute of Know-how in Karnataka’s Udupi district on Monday banned a professor from taking lessons after he allegedly referred to as a scholar ‘terrorist’. A video of the coed calling out the professor for labelling him a ‘terrorist’ is viral on the web.
The institute within the coastal area of the southern state has condemned the incident and ordered a probe. An official from MIT said, “The lecturer has been barred from taking any additional lessons. An enquiry staff has been fashioned to probe the incident.”
The professor allegedly referred to as a scholar as ‘Kasab’ – a reference to the convict within the 26/11 Mumbai terror assaults at Mumbai as a result of ‘his title sounded comparable’.
