Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha on Wednesday wrote to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar demanding an apology from Union minister Piyush Goyal for “demeaning” Bihar. He was referring to Goyal’s comment in Parliament – “Inka bas chale toh desh ko Bihar hello bana de” (if issues occurred in line with their whims your entire nation would turn out to be a Bihar).
In his letter, the RJD nationwide spokesperson condemned the “sheer insensitivity” displayed in direction of the state of affairs of Bihar as he cited Goyal’s “condescending perspective”.
