MBA graduate arrested for molesting woman twice outside Bengaluru tech park | Bangalore News

The Bengaluru police Sunday arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly molesting a 26-year-old lady twice outdoors a tech park close to Bellandur in Bengaluru. The accused has been recognized as Srikanth Reddy, a Devarabeesanahalli resident and an MBA graduate working with a non-public agency.

The incident occurred on April 30 close to the primary entrance of the tech park, elevating considerations over the protection of workers even in high-security workplace zones. The accused, driving a two-wheeler, allegedly approached the girl from behind, hit her on the again, and sped away.

As per the girl’s criticism with the Marathahalli police, Srikanth returned moments later after taking a U-turn and repeated the act with extra drive. He then allegedly parked his automobile close by and stored watching her. She alleged that regardless of CCTV cameras and safety workers within the space, no bystanders intervened.

The police fashioned particular groups to hint the accused following the criticism from the girl, a resident of Bhoganahalli.

“We’re checking whether or not the accused was concerned in related incidents earlier than,” a senior Whitefield division police officer stated.

In one other incident, the town police arrested a 29-year-old man for allegedly taking pictures of ladies close to City Corridor Sunday.

The arrested has been recognized as Rajaneesh, a local of KR Pet within the Mandya district. He was within the metropolis getting ready for aggressive examinations. On Sunday, round 2.30 pm, he got here to fulfill his good friend and sat outdoors City Corridor.

A police officer stated, “Some girls have been sitting on the steps of the city corridor, and he secretly began taking pictures of the ladies. The ladies who seen it questioned him, and folks gathered.”

Upon checking his cellphone, they discovered pictures taken and assaulted him earlier than handing him over to the police. The police have taken up a suo motu case and are investigating.
