Three males had been arrested in Bengaluru on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting a migrant employee from Bihar for carrying a saffron towel, the police mentioned.
The incident occurred at 9.30 pm on August 24, reverse the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Company bus stand in Kalasipalya.
The police recognized the accused as Tabrez, 30, a mechanic from Nagawara, Imran Khan, 35, a radium-cutting employee from Banashankari, and Ajeez Khan, 47, an actual property employee from Tilak Nagar.
Based on the First Info Report filed by Harikrishna, a loading supervisor at Royal Travels, the accused confronted Slinder Kumar, a loading employee on the journey company’s workplace, demanded that he take away his saffron towel, and questioned why he was permitted to put on it.
“They pushed Kumar and questioned why he was carrying a saffron towel,” Harikrishna acknowledged within the FIR. When he intervened, he alleged, the lads abused and assaulted him too, tearing his shirt.
The Kalasipalya police registered a case underneath sections 115 (2), 302 and 352 and three(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita on expenses associated to voluntarily inflicting harm, uttering phrases, and so on., with deliberate intent to wound non secular emotions of any particular person, and intentional insult with intent to impress breach of peace, amongst others.
