Silchar: At the least 5 suspected members, together with a frontrunner, of the Myanmar-based rebel group Chin Nationwide Entrance (CNF), have been arrested on Wednesday for illegally transporting weapons from throughout the border to Bangladesh by northeastern India, police mentioned.
In a joint operation with an intelligence company, Mizoram Police raided areas on the outskirts of Saithah village, underneath the jurisdiction of West Phaileng Police Station in Mizoram’s Mamit district. The raid focused a deal between two main rebel teams from Myanmar and Bangladesh, in accordance with an officer.
