Cooch Behar (West Bengal) [India], November 3, (ANI): The convoy of Union Minister of State for House Affairs Nisith Pramanik was allegedly attacked in Cooch Behar on Thursday.
As per visuals, the incident befell in Sitai space of Cooch Behar on Thursday afternoon when a mob is seen carrying sticks whereas Pramanik’s convoy was passing via the realm.
Following the incident, MoS Pramanik raised considerations over the safety lapse and questioned the regulation and order scenario in West Bengal.
“If the Bengal administration is strict, how can so many individuals collect on my route? The state police made the route of my convoy. We went in line with the route outlined by the police. How might there be such an enormous risk to me when it was state police who mapped out the route for my escort?” the union minister advised media individuals right here.
“The gathering even had sticks, stones and different weapons regardless of police presence. They certainly didn’t present up with sticks to bathe flowers. How this occurred is a query that must be requested. BJP employees wouldn’t sit quietly if their minister is attacked in entrance of them. Why the environment is being ruined? We wish a peaceable environment in Coochbehar,” he added.
