A motorcyclist died Thursday after hitting the middle barrier on Interstate 76 close to Eagle Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.
The 82-year-old driver was touring eastbound on the interstate at about 1:50 p.m. Thursday when she hit the middle barrier for unknown causes, in accordance with Brighton police. She was ejected from the bike, which then rolled over the cable barrier and into the westbound lanes of the interstate. The bike struck one other automobile, although the motive force of that automobile didn’t maintain any accidents.
The motorcyclist was taken to a close-by hospital, the place she died shortly after.
