Munich airport resumes flights after suspected drones force closure

Flights have resumed at Germany’s Munich airport after unconfirmed drone sightings pressured it to droop operations for the second time in 24 hours.

In a press release on Friday night, the airport stated that flights have been stopped at 21:30 native time (20:30 GMT), with round 6,500 passengers affected.

Not less than 17 flights have been additionally grounded in Munich on Thursday night attributable to a number of drone sightings in close by airspace.
