Rating Member Democratic congressman from Maryland Jamie Raskin tried to offer his opening assertion when he was instantly interrupted by Georgia consultant Marjorie Taylor Greene, saying, “I’ve an inquiry.”
Chairman James Comer advised her to state her level as Raskin continued to protest, asking for his time again.
“Mr. Chairman, don’t we have now Home guidelines and committee guidelines? Uh, relating to, uh, subpoenas, uh, after which guidelines about having, uh, hearings and having questions, uh, with witnesses that should be adopted,” Greene stated.
“Mr. Chairman. I’d wish to reclaim my time,” Raskin requested Comer once more.
The three started to talk over one another till Raskin requested the Chairman, “We are able to simply interrupt one another with an inquiry?”
