Again in 2009, throughout the LAPD’s investigation of rapper Christopher “The Infamous B.I.G.” Wallace’s 1997 homicide, Davis was provided a proffer, which he reportedly believed granted him immunity in Tupac’s case. Prosecutors said Davis then grew to become a confidential informant for a job power investigating Wallace’s homicide.
On Davis’ involvement, prosecutors stated: “[Davis] denied any involvement in that homicide, nonetheless, volunteered his data concerning the homicide of Tupac Shakur.”
“Thereafter, on Dec. 18, 2008, he supplied a recorded model of occasions much like his different re-countings of the homicide, all of which was in step with the identified proof from the early investigation.”
