In a notification, signed by Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha, it was acknowledged that the three departments that have been earlier with Chief Minister Manik Saha have been handed over to Barman.
“I’ve obtained the scope to work for the event of individuals dwelling in gram panchayats and in addition improvement of training. I like to work with individuals and for his or her improvement,” Barman instructed the media after the portfolio distribution was made official.
Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu administered the oath of workplace to Barman on the Durbar Corridor of Raj Bhawan in Agartala on July 2.
Barman contested and received the 2023 Meeting polls from the Nalchar Meeting constituency (SC) in Sepahijala district.
He has served because the nationwide common secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad for 3 phrases.
A postgraduate in Bengali from Tripura College in 2004, Barman, 44, was engaged with the BJP’s organisational work in North Bengal and served in occasion campaigns in Sikkim, Tripura, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
