The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) is conducting searches at a number of areas throughout the Kashmir Valley in a terror conspiracy case, officers stated Thursday.
The searches occurred in Shopian, Kulgam and Pulwama in south Kashmir, and Sopore and Kupwara in north Kashmir. An official stated the searches are being concurrently performed at 32 areas throughout the Valley.
Cops stated the central investigation company sleuths have been accompanied by J&Okay Police and paramilitary forces.
In south Kashmir’s Shopian, the searches are being performed at Reban Nildoora and Verify-e-Choland villages. Official stated the searches are additionally happening at Devsar, Bugam, Sonigam and Manzgam villages of neighbouring Kulgam district. Officers stated the sleuths additionally raided “just a few locations in south Kashmir’s Pulwama”.
In north Kashmir, the NIA groups have performed raids at a number of areas in Sopore and Kupwara.
An official stated that the raids are being performed in a case registered by the central company three years in the past. The case was registered by the NIA in Jammu in 2022 in opposition to a number of “terrorist organisations and over floor staff for terror conspiracy”.
