Officials open bank accounts to aid Himachal baby who survived flood | India News

Overwhelmed by the outpouring of feelings over the tragic story of 10-month-old Nitika Kumari from Talwara village of Parwara panchayat in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district, the administration has opened two financial institution accounts in her title.

She had misplaced her father on the midnight of June 30 when her village confronted the rain fury. Her mom and grandmother are nonetheless lacking.

As water had began getting into Nitika’s home following a cloudburst on the midnight of June 30, her father Ramesh Kumar, 31, ran outdoors to divert the water movement.
