“Late Night time” host Seth Meyers clowned conservatives on Wednesday for insisting that Donald Trump isn’t “performing like a king” following huge “No Kings” protests this previous weekend.
Meyers, who declared that Republicans had been “actually offended” by the implication, performed a supercut of the president, his son Donald Trump Jr., Fox Information hosts and Home Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) dismissing such speak.
Meyers went on to emphasise that Trump is not any king.
“A king is somebody who presumes the facility to do no matter they need with out consulting anybody else, somebody who treats public property and the sources of the state as their very own,” he started.
“Somebody who surrounds themselves with lavish appointments and gilded furnishings and the trimmings of wealth and energy and — oh fuck, I simply realized the place that is going!”
