Clenney mentioned she was solely attempting to guard herself whereas prosecutors have accused Clenney of being the aggressor within the couple’s tumultuous relationship.
“The violent and poisonous two-year relationship of Christian Obumseli and Courtney Clenney didn’t have to finish in tragedy with Christian’s homicide as a sufferer of home violence,” Miami-Dade State Lawyer Kathie Fernandez Rundle advised reporters.
Clenney has been awaiting trial at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Heart in Miami following her extradition from Hawaii, pleading not responsible final August as her attorneys labored tirelessly to “mount a vigorous protection” forward of their discovery dispute.
