With the top of his gubernatorial project in Meghalaya on Monday, Satya Pal Malik Wednesday declared that he would help Rashtriya Lok Dal’s (RLD) Jayant Chaudhary and Samajwadi Social gathering’s (SP) Akhilesh Yadav.

Talking to reporters at his village of Hisawada in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat, Malik mentioned he had no intention of becoming a member of energetic politics, however indicated that he wished to be a mentor to RLD and SP.

Malik was in his parental village to attend a programme organised in his honour, the place he additionally had lunch with native residents and particular invitees.

Malik mentioned he’ll proceed to combat for the welfare of farmers “who had been on the receiving finish of the anti-farmer insurance policies of the Narendra Modi authorities”.

He added that it was time that farmers joined palms in order that no political designs of any social gathering may breach their unity. He additionally expressed apprehension that now he has been relieved from a seat of energy in (Meghalaya), he might face probes from central companies.

Malik, 76, who hails from UP’s Baghpat, was a member of the UP Meeting throughout 1974-77. Throughout 1980-86 and 1986-89, he represented UP within the Rajya Sabha. In 1989, he received the Lok Sabha election from Aligarh as a Janata Dal candidate. In 1990, he turned the Union minister of state for parliamentary affairs and tourism.

In 2004, Malik joined the BJP and unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha elections, dropping to the then RLD chief Ajit Singh.

The Modi authorities appointed Malik because the Bihar Governor in October 2017 and transferred him to J&Ok in August 2018. Throughout his J&Ok tenure, the Modi authorities scrapped Article 370 which granted a particular standing to the then state.
Malik had been governor in 4 states and likewise held the extra cost of Odisha.
