Over 6000 trees felled for tiger safari in Corbett: FSI

The Uttarakhand forest division had taken the clearance of the Union Ministry of Forest, Surroundings and Local weather Change for the tiger safari challenge saying solely 163 timber will probably be chopped off within the course of.

However the FSI in its report stated 6,093 timber have been felled over 16.21 hectares of land instead of 163 for the tiger safari challenge at Pakhro within the Kalagarh forest division.
