Pakistan’s Supreme Courtroom on Monday directed the Punjab police chief Faisal Shahkar to register FIR within the case of the assassination try on former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The plea was heard by a five-member bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial and comprising Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Mazahar Akbar Naqvi, heard the plea, Daybreak reported on Monday.
Imran Khan was shot throughout his lengthy march in Wazirabad on Thursday, resulting in bullet accidents in his legs. After sustaining accidents on his leg, he was shifted to a hospital for therapy.
Earlier on Monday, Imran Khan wrote a letter to the nation’s President Arif Alvi, asking him to behave towards the “abuse of energy and violations of legal guidelines and Structure.”
