India’s Lakshya Sen shocked Indonesian third seed Jonatan Christie in straight video games to make the Paris Olympics males’s singles Spherical of 16 on Wednesday.

This was solely Sen’s second win in six conferences towards Christie, after having dropped 4 consecutive matches between the pair since their first assembly in 2020.
Sen is now slated to tackle the winner of Group Okay which can be determined by the conflict between his compatriot HS Prannoy and Vietnam’s Le Duc Phat. Prannoy and Duc Phat, stage on factors, will go head on the same digital knockout conflict like Sen and Christie on Wednesday night.

Earlier, PV Sindhu waltzed into the pre-quarterfinals of the Olympic Video games’ girls’s singles occasion, beating Estonia’s Kristin Kuuba of Estonia in straight video games. Sindhu, a two-time Olympoic medallist, gained 21-5 21-10 in a match that solely lasted 33 minutes and topped her group.
