The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has restored the pension of former Check tempo bowler Sarfaraz Nawaz, who had all his funds suspended since January 2017 after making unsubstantiated defamatory statements towards former Chairman, Najam Sethi.
The ex gratia funds had been discontinued because of disciplinary proceedings initiated towards Nawaz by the earlier set-ups of the PCB over his violation of the Code of Conduct beneath the Gamers’ Welfare Coverage.

Ashraf handed over a cheque to Nawaz to settle the excellent funds within the presence of the top of the Cricket Technical Committee, Misbah ul Haq and member, Muhammad Hafeez.
