
A Sunday evening crash in Arapahoe County killed one pedestrian and amputated one other’s leg, in keeping with the sheriff’s workplace.
Arapahoe County deputies responded at about 10 p.m. Sunday to the crash at East Smoky Hill Street and South Waco Road, spokesperson John Bartmann stated. One car struck two pedestrians, he stated.
The intersection is close to Large Sandy Park in Centennial, about 4 miles east of Cherry Creek State Park.
One pedestrian died on the scene of the crash, and paramedics took the opposite to the hospital with an amputated leg, Bartmann stated.
The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Workplace will determine the sufferer who died within the crash.
