A pedestrian was killed in a crash close to East Sixth Avenue and Kenton Road simply after 6 p.m. Tuesday, in response to the Aurora Police Division.
The crash occurred when the motive force of a silver Chevrolet pickup truck was headed eastbound on East Sixth Avenue east of Kenton Road and struck a 28-year-old Aurora man crossing the road, spokesperson Joe Moylan stated.
The person was strolling from north to south throughout Sixth Avenue in the course of the block, Moylan stated. His id shall be launched by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Workplace. The motive force remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Westbound East Sixth Avenue was closed for the crash investigation for about two hours and reopened at 8:15 p.m., in response to the division.
