The Karnataka Authorities on Tuesday issued an order proscribing authorities officers from travelling to overseas nations on official excursions “till the top of 2025 and till additional orders”.

A round issued by the Division of Personnel and Administrative Reforms stated that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had directed all officers of the state authorities who visited overseas nations of their official capacities between August 2024 and the top of July 2025 to submit examine reviews consisting of their findings from the journeys and suggestions to the Authorities.
Nevertheless, the Authorities has discovered that many officers who travelled overseas did not submit the reviews about their journeys. “Within the coming days, permission for official overseas journeys shall be thought of provided that they compulsorily submit the examine and implementation reviews” of the earlier excursions, the round stated.
