Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held talks together with his British counterpart Rishi Sunak, protecting key areas of cooperation corresponding to commerce, mobility, defence and safety.

The Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) mentioned the 2 leaders expressed satisfaction on the state of the wide-ranging India-UK Complete Strategic Partnership and progress on the ‘Roadmap 2030’ for future relations.
“The 2 leaders appreciated the significance of working collectively in bilateral and multilateral boards together with G20 and the Commonwealth,” it mentioned.
“Discussions touched upon necessary sectors of collaboration corresponding to commerce, mobility, defence and safety,” the MEA added.
