Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday mentioned India is a ‘nice good friend’ of Bangladesh and the 2 neighbours have resolved many issues bilaterally, a day after she received an awesome majority within the basic elections and secured a file fourth straight time period.
The 76-year-old chief, who has been ruling the strategically situated South Asian nation since 2009, secured a fifth total time period within the one-sided election on Sunday, which witnessed a low turnout.
“India is a superb good friend of Bangladesh. They’ve supported us in 1971 and in addition in 1975.
