Two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of tried first-degree homicide Saturday after Denver police say they have been concerned within the capturing that wounded a West Excessive College pupil Tuesday.
Jeison Urbina-Mancia, 18, and Gerardo Martinez Navarette, 21, allegedly knew the sufferer, and Denver police wrote in a social media publish that the capturing could have been associated to a previous battle.
The capturing within the 800 block of Elati Road put the varsity on a secure-perimeter standing for about an hour Tuesday afternoon. Denver Public Faculties spokesperson Scott Pribble later confirmed that the sufferer is an 18-year-old West Excessive College senior, regardless of Denver police reporting initially that he was not a pupil.
Each suspects have been detained at Denver’s downtown detention middle as of Saturday afternoon, in keeping with jail information.
