BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — Firefighters needed to rescue a person who received caught within the chimney of a Connecticut parks constructing whereas attempting to retrieve his canine from a rest room when the doorways robotically locked for the evening.
Police had been referred to as Sunday morning to Rockwell Park in Bristol for a housebreaking grievance and had been advised by parks staff that somebody was within the chimney. Firefighters responded to the scene and received the person out after having to take away elements of the chimney and constructing, inflicting $5,000 to $10,000 price of harm, police stated.
The Bristol man, who was not injured, was arrested and charged with housebreaking, trespassing and prison mischief. He was launched on bond and ordered to look in courtroom on July 7.
