Police raid home of singer accused of not paying for huge TV

Police have raided a Florida mansion believed to be the residence of Sean Kingston.

The singer, whose authorized identify is Kisean Anderson, was named as dwelling on the residence close to Fort Lauderdale in courtroom paperwork from February.

He was accused in February by an organization of not absolutely paying for an enormous TV and sound system.

A lady considered his mom was arrested on the property on Thursday morning beneath fraud and theft prices.

In a press release to the BBC, the Broward Sheriff’s Workplace confirmed it served arrest and search warrants on the property.

It’s not clear whether or not Mr Kingston was current on the property through the time of the arrest, or if the arrest is linked to the corporate’s allegations.

Mr Kingston appeared to reply to the information on his Instagram account.

“I’m good and so is my mom,” the singer stated in response to reviews that the arrested lady was his mom.

“My attorneys are dealing with every part as we converse,” he added.

The BBC has approached Mr Kingston and his mom, identified on Instagram as Mama Kingston, for remark.

In courtroom paperwork seen by the BBC, Ver Ver Leisure claims Mr Kingston contacted the corporate over social media in September 2023 to buy a “232-inch Colossal TV, coupled with a sturdy sound system.”

The corporate claims Mr Kingston “induced” the enterprise to put in the merchandise with “as small a down fee as potential” by making “quite a few false representations”, together with a suggestion that he would create promotional movies for the corporate with Justin Bieber.

Following the set up, the corporate says Mr Kingston didn’t make the remaining funds, and sued him for breach of contract and fraud.

A lawyer representing Ver Ver Leisure advised Miami’s Native 10 information that the corporate hoped to retrieve it from the home following the police raid.
