President Droupadi Murmu underwent cataract surgical procedure in her proper eye on the Military Hospital (Referral and Analysis) right here on Sunday, the Rashtrapati Bhavan stated in a communique.
The surgical procedure was profitable and he or she has been discharged from the hospital, it stated.
Murmu, 64, had undergone cataract surgical procedure in her left eye on the Military Hospital on October 16.
“The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu underwent cataract surgical procedure of her proper eye right this moment morning (November 20, 2022) on the Military Hospital (Referral & Analysis), New Delhi. Surgical procedure was profitable and he or she has been discharged from the hospital,” the Rashtrapati Bhavan stated.
Murmu was sworn in because the fifteenth President of India on July 25.
