Authorities have ordered prohibition on sale, stitching and storage of military uniforms and fight sample clothes in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district to verify their misuse by anti-national parts.
Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan ordered the prohibition. “Whereas, this risk posed by subversive parts is an imminent hazard to public security, public peace, tranquillity and safety that warrants speedy preventive …,” he mentioned in an order issued on Saturday.
Issuing a set of rules and restrictions, the district Justice of the Peace mentioned all authorised non-public companies and retailers procuring, storing and promoting fight garments shall instantly inform in writing to the closest police stations relating to their authority to hold on with this enterprise.
The time restrict for such info shall be 15 days from the date of issuance and publication of this order. All licensed individuals non-public companies/retailers dealing in such articles shall submit fortnightly experiences of all of the gross sales of fight/Khadi costume/fabric made by them together with detailed particulars of the Military/Paramilitary/Police personnel to whom the such gross sales have been made,” the order mentioned.
The record shall be offered by the vendor or sellers to Station Home Officer’s involved on fortnightly foundation.
“The register carrying all such particulars shall be maintained correctly by every vendor and shall be made accessible as and when the inspection of the store is carried out by competent authorities,” the order mentioned, directing all such authorised companies to promote such articles to bonafide members of armed forces after verifying their identification and recording the names and the models the place ever employed on the register.
Tehsildar, govt Justice of the Peace firstclass or an officer of the police of the rank of Assistant Sub-inspector or above shall have the authority to verify and examine such registers, the order mentioned, including any particular person contravening this order shall be punished.
