Rahul Yatra Day 35: Braves rain again, walks with kin of organ donors

Congress chief Rahul Gandhi Wednesday braved the rain for the second time in Karnataka throughout his Bharat Jodo Yatra. A torrential downpour began when the rally was barely 2 km from Hirenahalli toll plaza – the vacation spot for Wednesday’s march. Congress employees have been seen attempting to guard Rahul Gandhi with a blanket at the same time as he continued to stroll undeterred by the rain.

The yatra on its thirty fifth day started at Challakere within the morning.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi was hit by rain whereas he was addressing a rally close to Mysuru.

Within the afternoon, Rahul Gandhi interacted with unemployed youth.

Whereas responding to questions, he attacked the BJP-ruled Centre and Karnataka authorities stating that the administrations haven’t any technique to create employment however are privatising public sector models (PSUs).

He stated, “The Union authorities is destroying small and medium-scale industries. The federal government has allowed monopolisation of enterprise to favour one or two company homes. The federal government is simply working for them and financial insurance policies are completely in opposition to the poor.”

In the meantime, Rahul Gandhi additionally met members of the family of organ donors Wednesday.

Relations of Nationwide Movie Award winner actor Sanchari Vijay, Chikkamagaluru PUC pupil Rakshitha, and Veda Manjunath – whose organs have been donated put up their deaths in highway accidents – accompanied Rahul Gandhi on the Yatra Wednesday.

On his Fb web page, Rahul Gandhi stated he had the privilege of strolling with the braveheart households of organ donors, “who personify resilience, empathy, and humanity.”

Noting that Kannada thespian late Dr Rajkumar and his late actor-son Puneeth Rajkumar’s act of donating their eyes impressed hundreds of thousands of Kannadigas, amongst others, and raised consciousness on the significance of organ donation, Rahul Gandhi stated, “I really feel immensely proud to let you know all that 33 Bharat Yatris have pledged to donate their eyes from this stunning land of Karnataka.”

“There’s boundless love and pleasure within the spirit of concord, brotherhood, and humanity,” he added.
