Regional Transportation District upkeep work will disrupt transit on rail traces out and in of Denver Union Station, company officers introduced.

This “federally required upkeep work” will have an effect on the commuter rail service on RTD’s A, B, G, and N traces on Saturday and Sunday, officers stated.

RTD will run shuttle buses to ferry riders between affected stations in the course of the disruption, officers stated. Regular service is anticipated to renew on Monday.

For riders on the A Line that hyperlinks Union Station with Denver Worldwide Airport, RTD will run shuttle buses between Union Station and the Thirty eighth-Blake Station. A Line riders can attain the buses at Gate B22 within the Union Station underground bus concourse. A Line riders at RTD’s Thirty eighth-Blake Station can attain shuttle buses at a “bus bridge gate” on Blake Road.

A Line trains will run as regular between the Thirty eighth-Blake Station and the Denver Airport Station by DIA, company officers stated.

For riders on different disrupted traces, RTD officers stated the company will run the next shuttle buses:

B and G Strains – Shuttle buses will run between Union Station and the Forty first-Fox Station. These buses will be reached in Union Station on the underground Gate B22. On the Forty first-Fox Station, the shuttle buses will be reached at Gate D. Buses will run as regular between the Forty first-Fox Station and Westminster Station. G Line trains will run as regular between the Forty first-Fox Station and the Wheat Ridge-Ward Street Station

N Line – Shuttle buses will run between Union Station and the forty eighth and Brighton-Nationwide Western Heart Station. N Line riders at Union Station can attain the shuttle buses at Gate B22, and riders on the forty eighth and Brighton-Nationwide Western Heart Station can attain the shuttle buses at that bus cease. N Line trains will run as regular between forty eighth and Brighton-Nationwide Western Heart Station and the Eastlake-124th Station.

RTD officers stated riders “ought to anticipate delays” because of the rail closures, and are inspired to make use of the company’s web site to discover alternate routes.
