A rusty previous system, suspected to be a hand grenade, was recovered in entrance of a Fireplace Station near Maharajganj Bazaar — the biggest wholesale market of Agartala — on Friday.
The suspected grenade was first noticed by Amal Chakraborty, a fireman of Maharajganj Fireplace Station, who claimed it was lined in mud and closely rusted.
“I don’t know whether or not it was dwell. After seeing it, I knowledgeable the police and others of the Fireplace Station,” Chakraborty instructed reporters.
