Three earthquakes had been recorded in southern Colorado Friday morning, together with a pair close to Silverton in San Juan County the place rumblings and a loud noise had been reported.
The three.6 magnitude earthquake occurred about 7 a.m. Friday, in accordance with the San Miguel County Sheriff’s Workplace, and it was felt within the city of Ophir within the San Juan Mountains. A second quake, 2.2 magnitude, was recorded about 8 a.m., with no accidents or injury reported.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 4.3 magnitude earthquake at 6:06 a.m. Friday northeast of Segundo, in Las Animas County west of Trinidad. The quake was 6.3 kilometers in depth.
