
An e-mail was printed in two British publications on Sunday, September 21, through which Ferguson wrote to Epstein, “You may have all the time been a steadfast, beneficiant and supreme good friend to me and my household.”
It was written after the duchess gave an interview claiming to have lower ties with the infamous pedophile. She known as their friendship a “gigantic error of judgment,” including, “What he did was unsuitable and for which he was rightly jailed.”
“I abhor pedophilia and any sexual abuse of kids and know that this was a huge error of judgment on my behalf. I’m simply so contrite I can’t say,” Ferguson continued, then referenced a $20,000 mortgage the financier gave her.
“Each time I can, I’ll repay the cash and don’t have anything ever to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever once more,” the duchess promised.
The interview got here three years after Epstein pleaded responsible to prices of soliciting prostitution in Florida. He died in federal jail in 2019 whereas awaiting trial on sex-trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit intercourse trafficking.
