SC Collegium recommends transfer of 7 high court judges, including 4 from Karnataka | India News

The Supreme Courtroom Collegium has beneficial the switch of seven excessive courtroom judges, together with 4 from Karnataka, in what it mentioned was an effort to advertise variety and enhance the administration of justice.

A press release issued by the Collegium, presided by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, mentioned, “With a view to infuse inclusivity and variety on the stage of Excessive Courts and to strengthen the standard of administration of justice, the Supreme Courtroom Collegium in its conferences held on fifteenth April, 2025 and nineteenth April, 2025 has beneficial switch of the…Judges of Courts.”

From Karnataka Excessive Courtroom, Justice Hemant Chandangoudar has been beneficial to be moved to Madras Excessive Courtroom, Justice Krishnan Natarajan to Kerala, Justice Neranahalli Srinivasan Sanjay Gowda to Gujarat, and Justice Dixit Krishna Shripad to Orissa Excessive Courtroom.

Justice Perugu Sree Sudha has been beneficial to be transferred from Telangana Excessive Courtroom to Karnataka, Justice Kasoju Surendhar alias Ok Surender – additionally from Telangana Excessive Courtroom – to Madras Excessive Courtroom, and Justice Kumbhajadala Manmadha Rao from Andhra Pradesh Excessive Courtroom to Karnataka.
