A number of folks have died and others are lacking after flash flooding hit components of central Texas on Friday morning.
Catastrophe declarations have been issued for the Hill Nation and Concho Valley areas.
Rescues and evacuations have been underway because the early morning, however there are warnings of extra potential flash flooding to come back.
“Even when the rain is mild, extra flooding can happen in these areas,” Appearing Governor Dan Patrick stated.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott stated the state was offering “all obligatory assets to Kerrville, Ingram, Hunt and your entire Texas Hill Nation coping with these devastating floods”.
The area is to the north-west of the Texas metropolis of San Antonio.
