Siddaramaiah will not contest polls from Kolar: BSY | Bengaluru

Former chief minister B S Yediyurappa on Monday stated Opposition Chief Siddaramaiah wouldn’t contest the Meeting polls from the Kolar constituency and was “taking part in a drama”.

“At the moment itself, I’ll say one factor, don’t assume I’m making a prediction, I believe Siddaramaiah won’t contest from Kolar for any motive. He’s taking part in a drama and is making an attempt to return to Mysuru,” Yediyurappa stated.

Chatting with reporters right here, the previous chief minister stated the Congress legislature social gathering chief is conscious that he would face a defeat and should go house if he contests from Kolar.

“He’s taking part in political circus and drama, in accordance with me. He won’t contest from there (Kolar) and will strive to return to Mysuru, if that occurs we’ll do the technique we have to,” he added.

Requested about talks that have been doing rounds that Siddaramaiah might contest from two seats, Yediyurappa, a member of Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP)’s high parliamentary board, stated, “I don’t learn about it. It’s left to their social gathering. Let him contest from two or three seats, however going house is definite.”

BJP nationwide basic secretary C T Ravi stated on Monday that Pakistan can be protected for Congress chief Siddaramaiah to contest the polls because it suited the previous Karnataka chief minister’s ‘’mindset’’.

The Chikkamagaluru MLA took a dig at Siddaramaiah in response to a query in regards to the former chief minister’s want to contest from Kolar, touted to be a protected seat, within the forthcoming meeting polls.

“For my part, Pakistan is protected for him (Siddaramaiah),” Ravi stated.

Chatting with reporters, Ravi stated, “For his mindset, Pakistan is protected, as there isn’t any (Prime Minister) Modi or (CM) Basavaraj Bommai or (former CM) Yediyurappa there. If he goes there, there can even be no D Ok Shivakumar (KPCC chief) or G Parameshwara (Congress chief) or Kharge (AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge) to hassle him there. So, Pakistan is protected.’”

Chief of opposition and former Congress chief minister Siddaramaiah January 8 introduced that he would contest elections from Kolar district if the social gathering’s excessive command permitted.

Siddaramaiah is but to react to Yediyurappa’s assertion.

Nevertheless, Siddaramaiah’s workplace in an announcement stated that he has “held a rally in Kolar which was attended by over 60,000 social gathering employees” and “it reveals his dedication in the direction of his choice to contest from Kolar”.

In line with Congress social gathering analysts, Kolar has been chosen by Siddaramaiah due to a mixture of voters within the district.

“Kolar is a protected guess for Siddaramaiah as it can consolidate AHINDA votes in his favour, and Vokkaliga leaders of the social gathering from the area even have pledged assist to him,” analysts stated.

AHINDA is a Kannada acronym that stands for ‘Alpasankhyataru’ (minorities), ‘Hindulidavaru’ (Backward Lessons) and ‘Dalitaru’ (Dalits).
