Singapore Taxi App Company Investigates Racist Remark - 'Go Back India'

A ride-hailing firm in Singapore is investigating an incident by which a driver made racist remarks in opposition to a passenger, asking the particular person to ‘Return India’.

The unnamed passenger shared an account of the incident, and screenshots of the dialog with the driving force belonging to Seize, a ride-hailing firm, on the Instagram account ‘sgfollowsall’ on Thursday, The Straits Occasions reported on Friday.

The trade started with the driving force, who stated he was not in a position to attain the pickup level as a consequence of close by highway works and informed the passenger to not wait.

The passenger then requested the driving force to cancel the journey if the latter was not coming. The motive force responded by asking if the passenger was Indian.
