Over the previous few years, Daniel Cleggett Jr. seemed to be dwelling a charmed life.
The founding father of a small Boston-area habit therapy empire knew he was below scrutiny; the Globe and STAT Information revealed investigations in 2017 and 2019 into his questionable enterprise dealings, and the Massachusetts legal professional normal’s workplace introduced shortly after that it was inspecting alleged scams involving habit therapy.
Nonetheless, Cleggett did little to cover his extra, nor did he appear to hit the brakes on new ventures. He opened enterprise after enterprise; took lavish holidays to Yellowstone, Mont., and Aruba; dined on caviar at costly motels; and acquired married on the luxurious Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod. His Fb web page, stuffed with glowing photographs of his household by the seashore and within the Virgin Islands, screamed success.
